The domain of Human Machine Interaction (HMI) focuses on how we humans learn, direct and trust machines. Key challenges researched within this field range from the use of digital interventions, to the usability of new machines and trust in autonomous vehicles. Key areas within this domain include Human factors, Ergonomics, and Cognitive research. For many of these studies eye-tracking and physiological measurements like EEG or heart-rate monitoring, provide the data that is needed.
