Health, both mental and physical, forms an integral part of the BMS faculty and BMS lab lab related studies. It is most strongly associated with the field of psychology and focuses mostly on the areas of health promotion, exposure therapy, physiology, qualitative research and longitudinal studies. Studies and their goals vary greatly and may concern themselves with the long term effects of psychological interventions, new methods of treating disorders or interviews about loneliness with the elderly. Within these studies it is common to use recording equipment, physiological measurements, like heart rate and blood pressure and EEG recordings.
