Human Factors

The research area of Human Factors is focused on the human aspect of the domain of Human Machine Interaction. How do we keep smartphones user friendly and people on them productive? How can we enable pedestrians to trust self-driving cars? A lot of these question may be skipped over by both designers and engineers and are what Human Factors research is about. Within this research area you will often find studies that assess interventions or observe behaviour. Our eye-trackers, recording equipment and Virtual Reality (VR) simulations are key to these studies.
