BMS Lab Inspire and Interact event

The long overdue sequel to the BMS Lab Demo day of 2019 is finally there!

The BMS Lab is inviting you to the second edition of the BMS Lab Demo Days, titled: Inspire and Interact. We will host an afternoon session filled with inspiring stories and exciting new developments, but most importantly: filled with time to meet-up, experiment with new equipment and facilities and to interact with and to inspire each other. Join us and have an inspiring afternoon at the BMS Lab.

BMS Inspire and Interact event

When: The 31st of March 2022 at 15:00 hours

Where: The Cube in the Cubicus building (next to the BMS Lab)

What: A nice afternoon and evening filled with (new) technology, collaboration and gezelligheid.

Notes:

  • Small bites and drinks are included.
  • Please take note of the corona measures in place at the time of the event. We will adhere to them where necessary.

What can you expect?

The event will start at 15:00 hours on Thursday the 31st of March 2022. After a brief talk by our director, Jan-Willem van ‘t Klooster, we will open up the lab for people to head to a section of their interest and talk with our resident experts and each other. The session will be hands-on, meaning you don’t just get to talk about new and exciting research, but we encourage you to engage with our equipment as well. At the end, there will be time for a drink and chat and to continue working and experimenting with the equipment.

Program

  • 15:00-15:15: Walk-in and coffee
  • 15:15-15:30: Opening talk and introduction (the Cube lounge area, Cu-B205c)
  • 15:30-16:45: Demo’s and lab rooms open (all lab rooms), research software demo’s and sensor tryouts (The Cube),
  • 16:45-18:00: Network drinks (the Cube)
