Health promotion

The study of medicine and health has allowed civilizations around the world to live longer and better lives. To thrive. Developments in the last decades in have only added to the importance of health and healthy behavior. Aging and stagnating or even shrinking populations have added pressure on both the available workforce and healthcare system. Inspiring and encouraging healthy behavior is thus not just an ideal, but necessity as well. At the BMS faculty, there is an area of health studies that focuses on the promotion of healthy behavior. Health promotion often uses cohort studies, online interventions or digital questionnaires to measure the effects of interventions on the (mental) health of participants. To achieve this, researchers employ our own apps and simple recording devices.
